In 1992, Traci guested on the Manic Street Preachers' debut album Generation Terrorists on the track Little Baby Nothing. The duet with singer James Dean Bradfield, dealing with the virgin-whore complex and the objectification of women, was originally written with Kylie Minogue in mind, but official Evil Bastard Pete Waterman, whose label she was signed to at the time, laughed the band out of the office when they suggested it.

So the role fell to Lords. Despite the Manics' original intention of getting "the most manipulated, doll-like person we could find," guitarist and Minister for Propaganda Richey James later described the porn star as "the most intelligent American we've ever met."
