Universties hold the Universe together. Although no-one is sure,
theorists have hypothesized that they are constructed out of various elements, such as
superstrings,
duct tape,
the gummy stuff on the floor of a movie theater, millenia-old-
Spam, or
phlogiston. These are only a few of the competing ideas! Universties are usually found in places in the
cosmos where God had to do a bit of rewiring. Where the rewiring is really extensive due to damage, lack of space or sheer
complexity of the surrounding area (see also
black hole,
quasar,
supernova) then one will find an
increased frequency of universties. It's possible
God intends to get back to those later. However, if buying a
used universe, beware if there are excessive numbers of universties visible - likely it was
rewired (and probably inexpertly) by the
DPO.
