An annual competition between the English and Scottish rugby teams, usually played as part of the Six Nations Tournament. The trophy is made from the 108 silver rupees remaining after the Calcutta Rugby Club disbanded in the 1920's.

This contest was the original rugby international, and was played between these two sides at Raeburn Place, Edinburgh, on March 27th 1871. Currently England have won 60 wins to Scotland's 39, in a contest that has seen 17 drawn games
