Arcon is an
annual gaming convention in
Oslo,
Norway. It is arranged by the two
gaming clubs called
Ares (both of them), as the name reflects ("Ar-con"), in the usual style of gaming conventions. Arcon is
Norways largest convention of this type, and is held at
Oslo University at
Blindern the weekend closest to
midsummer eve.
Arcon is a quite old convention, this year (2001), Arcon 17 is held (which means that unless they skipped any years, the first Arcon was held in 1985).
