matriculated, and grew debauched, at
Wadham College,
Oxford.
His uncle, The
Earl of Clarendon, Chancellor to the University, conferred him with the degree of
M.A..
After a tour of France and Italy, he returned to London, where he graced the
Restoration Court.

A Satyre on Charles II, he began a new identity as `
Doctor Bendo'. Dr. Bendo was a physician skilled in treating women for
barrenness. it is said his practice was VERY successful.
