After a tour of France and Italy, he returned to London, where he graced the Restoration Court.
after his banishment from the Restoration Court for his poem A Satyre on Charles II, he began a new identity as `Doctor Bendo'. Dr. Bendo was a physician skilled in treating women for barrenness. it is said his practice was VERY successful.
