Condensed version of the materials found on the Canadian Heritage website http://www.pch.gc.ca, geared towards individuals wishing to display the National Flag of Canada.

The flag should be displayed above other flags, in a dignified manner, aloft and free. It can fly day or night.

If the flag is hung vertically on a wall, the stem of the leaf should point to the right. Otherwise the stem is to point south or west.

On a motor vehicle, the flag should fly to the front and right.

On boats, the flag should be flown while inside territorial waters, is flown at stern and be lowered between sunset and 8am local time.

The flag is never, ever flown upside down, even during World Series and the Blue Jays are winning ...
