Depeche Mode album released in 1997. It has a distinctly different sound from their earlier works-- denser, more
laid back, generally just less of the
synth-pop sound that DM has always embodied.
IMHO, the result is less enjoyable, but it definitely has its moments with some very pretty songs. Worth a listen, at least.
