Nickname of Galib Andang, leader of the
Muslim rebel group in the
Philippines who kidnapped 21 foreign tourists from a
Maylaysian resort a while ago, and who still hold 12 of them on
Jolo island. First the Philippine government and now
Libya are paying the rebels a whopping
ransom to gain the release of the
hostages, and the rebels have predictably used that
dough to
buy more weapons.
