Pallieter .... not only is it my real first name, it's also the title of a book written by Felix Timmermans, a Belgian writer.
Pallieter means: enjoyer of life. It's a Flemmish word, but more often used in The Netherlands, although not many people actually know the word or what it means - but hey, it's in the dictionary.
