I'm thinking of misty forests with rusty autumn leaves covering the ground. Smoke of moist burning wood coming from afar. The sun is hanging low in the sky, just a light point in the mist. My breath condenses before my face. Little water droplets mingling with fog and smoke and scattered rays of sun. I'm alone. Yet content in my solitude.
These are the images and feelings coming up in me when I listen to Wächter meiner Einsamkeit (Guards of my Solitude); Track 10 on the CD scheinheilig (sanctimonious) by the German quartet Engel wider Willen (Angels against their Will).
