Apu Nahasapeemapetilon in
The Simpsons universe. He is balding and is a little more overweight than his brother, but the family resemblance between the two is unmistakable. Sanjay doesn't appear much on the series, and when he does it's purely for a plot point. When he is seen, however, he's usually running the shop in a behind-the-scenes manner. His most prolific appearance was in the episode "
Twenty-Two Short Films About Springfield" in which he held a wild party to which
Apu was invited.
Apu closed the store for the first time and managed to cram hours worth of partying into four minutes.
Sanjay has a son, Jamshed Nahasapeemapetilon, who is seen even less than his father. Also of note is that one of Apu's children bears a striking resemblance to Sanjay. Hmm...
