It was really odd to see the previous writeup listed in the New Writeups nodelet, because I have a graphic (made by tregoweth, after I praised a smaller button he'd made with the same slogan) on the front page of my personal web site which says "Warning: Contains language." This is meant as a preview that the site is mostly text, and that you won't like it if you expect flashy graphics and you're not willing to read.

Tregoweth says he doesn't remember where he saw the slogan. Ex0teric suggests that "tregoweth probably saw it as the title of Neil Gaiman's spoken word album released a few years back," which seems quite likely to me. General Wesc, creator of the nodeshell originally filled by VaiPhile, says "While Gaiman may be the origin, the nodeshell was created after visiting your website."
