Dwayne Rudolph Goettel {b:Feb 1, 1964} of Skinny Puppy, Doubting Thomas, Tear Garden, Download, Psyche, and Hilt died on August 23, 1995 from what was considered to be an accidental heroin overdose in his parents' bathroom in Edmonton Alberta, Canada. He was taking a break from working on Download, and Skinny Puppy's last album The Process when he got a bad package of heroin from Vancouver.
He worked most with cEvin Key, playing the digital samplers and synths, but also with Nivek Ogre, and Dave "Rave" Ogilvie on many albums.
Interestingly, he was an albino.
