Enterprise Information Systems is the Lockheed Martin Corporation's IS (Information Systems) division.

While LM works with the United States government, large private corporations, and a myriad of other customers, EIS's only customer is Lockheed Martin itself.

Their goal is to provide Lockheed with the information systems it needs to be competitive.  These include projects like data consolidation, pension and benefit reporting systems, web applications, and many others too numerous to list.

EIS was founded in 1995 by Joe Clevelend (who is still its head, as well as Lockheed's Chief Information Officer) in order to put all of Lockheed's IS/IT personnel under one roof.  Lockheed EIS is based in Orlando, Florida, although their 3,200 employees span the United States.
