PICKLED used to be the phone number for the
FBI office in
Boston,
Massachusetts.
For years the joke went around local high schools, everyone trying to get you to call it from your home phone and then trying to scare you into believing the feds were going to come kick your door in after you realized who you called.
I don't know if it's still the FBI, I've already replaced my front door three times this month and the old lady is starting to get annoyed. Be sure and let me know if you try it.
