Eskiya means people who live in mountains and steal to live in Turkish. During the First World War, there were a lot of Eskiyas in Turkey, but they disappeared after the foundation of republic. Even now, there some people, who live in mountains, but they're no longer named "Eskiya".
There is also a movie named "Eskiya", starred by Sener Sen and Ugur Yucel. "Eskiya" was about a man who came to Istanbul to find his love and kill his enemy.
There's also a famous novel about an Eskiya, Ince Memed.
