Meat and three sides (idea)

Meat and three sides is a wonderful meal idea I found out about on a recent trip through the south. Here are the choices...

NOTE:This is only what I have experienced in South Carolina, I do not know if these are on the menu of every meat and three sides place.

• Fried or baked chicken
• Meat loaf
• Fish unspecified, fried
• Pork
• on Thursday,Turkey with dressin'. I don't think the dressin' counts as a side, they just put it on top.
• Chicken fried steak

• Hush Puppies, mmmmmmmm
• Macaroni
• Rice
• Mashed Potatoes
• French Fries
• Spinach
• Greens collard, mustard, turnip
• Green Beans
• Sweet Potato souffle (sometimes)
• Cream corn (sometimes)
• Fried Okra
• Squash

Of course you get your choice of roll or corn bread, and you have to have a nice glass of sweet tea to go with it, all for the low, low price of $5.49.
