This was yesterday. | This will be tomorrow.
I was very much looking forward to this day - solstice, but the added Last Chance to See twist of the moon being closest to the Earth that it would get in our lifetime, being brightest and of course, that is why on this night Vancouver was eaten whole by an unearthly fog - fun weather in its own right, I have since discovered - for the entire week following.
No "no lights needed - walk by moonlight" moments, as had been hoped for, but on the other hand I'm constantly wiping dew out of my beard.
