Stork bites (also called Salmon Patches) are small, pink, flat birthmarks. Almost half of all newborns get these spots. They are small blood vessels (capillaries) that are visible through the skin. They are most common on the face and the back of the neck (the ones on the back of the neck do not fade as much but they're covered by hair anyway). They fade as you grow up. They are nothing to worried about.
