Two cups milk
Two cups brown sugar
Half cup molasses
Eight tablespoons butter
Three tablespoons baking powder
One quarter teaspoon star aniseed (ground)
One quarter teaspoon nutmeg
One quarter teaspoon cinnamon
Jam

Mix the ingredients together. Roll out fairly thin. Cut with a round cookie cutter. Add jam to the centre. Fold over top of jam, and pinch the edges. The whole thing should be sort of like a pizza pocket. Turn the pinched edge to the bottom of the cookie sheet. Bake for about ten minutes at 350 degrees fahrenheit.
