Former member of Swans, where he played the drums, who went on to be one of the most influential producers in the alternative scene. To give you the general idea of what this guy has been up to here's a few of the bands he's been working with:
Faith No More, New Order, Gravity Kills, The The, Boss Hog, Lords of Acid and Marilyn Manson.
His best achievements in my opinion are his work with the Swiss band Young Gods and the grisly duo Wiseblood together with James Thirlwell aka Foetus.
