The Neues Palais is a castle in Potsdam
). It is a part of the complex of Sanssouci
, the residence of the Prussian
kings. It was mainly used as a house for the guests of the kings.
The castle was finished in 1769
after only 7 years of building. The original plans for it were made by Georg Wenzeslaus von Knobelsdorf
It is one of the last baroque Prussian castles. Friedrich der Große
