A hot drink used to relieve the symtoms of colds, flu, and sinus congestion. Available in nine different formulations, for various combinations of cough, chest congestion, sore throat, colds and flu, allergies, and sinus congestion. It comes in four different flavours, lemon, cherry, apple cinnamon, and honey lemon.
Lemon is the best. Honey Lemon is evil, and Apple Cinnamon not too good, although I haven't had cherry.
Contains decongestants which produce a narrowing of blood vessels. This leads to clearing of nasal congestion, but it may also cause an increase in blood pressure in patients who have high blood pressure. Also has analgesics, to help relieve headache and sinus pain. And some formulas have antihistamines, to help surpress allergic reactions.
Neo Citran will make you feel better, no matter how crappy you felt before. Unfortunatly it appears to only be marketed in Canada. I'm sure you noders from other areas have equivalent products. Enough dosage of this stuff and orange juice and ginger ale, and I swear it'll cure cancer. Ok, well at least make you feel better about your cold.
