The
University of Oregon's
mascot is the
duck. Specifically the mascot used on clothing and promotional materials is
Donald Duck (see my wu under his node for more).
All of the UO sports teams are named the ducks.
This is in contrast with the mascot of Oregon State University, which is the beaver.
There are many ducks that can be found on the University of Oregon's campus, mostly down by the Willamette River.
