Gartnerlosjen and
DDR, Black Debbath is a humorous political satire
black metal band. The name Black Debbath is a
spoof of
Black Sabbath and the word
debate. Their lyrics concentrate on current
Norwegian political affairs, such as health politics, the stagnation of the
IT industry and the fact that people don't read as much as they should.
Black Debbath pissed of the band Dimmu Borgir, since they took the black metal joke very personally. Black Debbath responded by making an album in MP3 with 12 songs all dedicated to piss Dimmu Borgir off. On the album they claimed that the so-called satanists in Dimmu Borgir spend their fridays at home with their wives watching Friends.
