This is the full list of Allied ships that were present in Tokyo Bay, for Japan's Surrender ceremony of September 2, 1945 on board the USS Missouri (BB-63). Japanese Foreign Minister Mamoru Shigemitsu and General Yoshijiro Umezu signed the eight paragraph document titled Instrument of Surrender. The time was recorded as being 4 minutes past 9 o'clock.

United States of America General Douglas MacArthur accepted Japan's surrender "for the United States, Republic of China, United Kingdom, and the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, and in the interests of the other United Nations at war with Japan."

Many men and ships lay witness to this surrender ceremony in Tokyo Bay, having waited so long for VJ Day. There was much celebration afterwards. This is the full list of Allied ships present for the surrender.
