A wonderful vampire trilogy by Nancy Collins. It was later made into a graphic novel, which is how most people know it, but it originated off as a paperback. I like it a great deal, because it's a unique vampire story where the vampires don't just feed on blood but on human hatred and pain. It relates wars and other historic events to vampires. And also touches on the idea of vampire clans, which is where I believe Vampire Masquerade got its idea because the book is a lot older than the game. It also gives a unique approach to how vampires are made, but I am not going tell anymore cause I might ruin the book.
