A proud product of Maine, it is an all natural balm. Originally, there was a lip-only variation. However, she made a variation that, as the label explains, is for “lips, tips (fingertips, I assume), and toes.”

Ingredients include olive oil and beeswax.

I found my first tin of it at Wild Oats. I found it to be quite effective against the chapped lips brought on by winter. It seems to have not only sealed them against a present problem, but kept them moist after carmex has worn off. It lacks the strong menthol feel that my wife hates.

Still can’t figure out the elephant connection, though the one on the label has its trunk up—a sign of good luck.
