The A2 is an option open to British students whom are studying AS Level
qualifications.
Once a student has completed an AS Level qualification, they have the option to go on to do the A2 section of the course. Successful completion of this means that the student now has the A Level in a given subject instead of the AS Level.
For full time students, this part of the course lasts 1 academic year.
