SPoT Coffee is a small coffe shop based out of Buffalo, NY with four locations; 2 in Buffalo, 1 in Ellicottville, and 1 in Rochester, NY. Spot Coffee is well know in Buffalo for its relaxed atmosphere, good coffee, and cool decor.

SPoT Coffee is so good, that Starbucks has opened a coffee shop across the street from one of its locations. The Starbucks lot is usually full, but the shop is usually empty from people just walking across the street to SpoT.

According to their website, SPoT coffee was founded in 1995 by Sally and Mike Morin while they were living in Seattle. Instead of pursuing technical careers, the pair decided to bring the wonderful world of Coffee to Upstate New York.

The first location opened in 1996 at the corner of Delaware and Chippewa in Buffalo. The second location at 32 Monroe St. in Ellicottville opened in February 1998. In November 1998, SPoT opened shop at 765 Elmwood Avenue. In August 2000, SPoT opened their first Rochester location at 200 East Ave., in a small entertainment district.

In addition to just coffee, SPoT serves up other culinary delights like pastries, fresh breads, desserts, in addition to good soups, sandwiches, and pasta dishes.
