Post meridiem (thing)

The twelve hours after the sun passes over the local meridian are denoted with the abbreviation PM, short for post meridiem.

Afternoon, evening or night.

There is a 95% chance I will be awake during any given PM hour.

Nice things about afternoon and evening:

• Basking in the hot summer sun
• The smell of freshly cut grass
• Afternoon naps
• Watching sports and drinking beer
• Going out: cocktails, fine dining, dates, socializing
