Thin Lizzy were a mighty 70s rock band. Fronted by Dubliner Phil Lynott on vocals and bass, the band featured Brian Downey on drums, and various guitarists, including Eric Bell, Gary Moore, Brian "Robbo" Robertson, and William Scott Gorham. Though the band descended to Stygian depths in the 80s, material recorded in the mid/late 70s ranks with the best of classic rock. 'Live and Dangerous' (1978) and 'The Black Rose' (1979) are the best testament to their achievement; great songs include 'Still in Love with You', 'Dancing in the Moonlight', and 'Cowboy Song'.
