Re-volt tries to recreate the feel of racing real remote controlled cars. Essentially a "Cart Racer", combining racing and fighting (much like the MarioKart series, or Crash Team Racing)
Highlights include:
- Pretty tracks and cars
- Good RC physics
- Fun powerups
- Internet/LAN play (in different modes)
- Bouncy dance music soundtrack
The game has a very light tone to it; nothing about it is very serious.
It is a game about toys. This might be a good one to bring home for the kids, compared to
Driver or
Gran Turismo.
