One of the
classic vertically scrolling
shooters. It appeared in the
arcade and on just about every
videogame console as well as the
PC. It featured good
graphics for its
day and the
control was
unmatched. It also
spawned an unfortunate
sequel which was really nothing sort of a
quarter sucking arcade game.
It used a system of power ups that required some strategy (but mostly just fast reflexes).
