Your presumption is flawed.
The Borg utilize drones as seperate modular processors. Each individual assimilated into the Collective adds to the experiences and thinking power of every drone.

The Borg are nothing more than an extremely efficient Beowulf Cluster.

We are the Beowulf. Resistance is futile. Your semisentient biomatter processing nodes will be added to our own.
