Yoko Ono was born Februrary 18, 1933 in Tokyo, Japan.
She was a freelance artist who met John Lennon in 1967 at a gallery featuring her work. When she saw John there, she simply handed him a card that said "Breathe". Ever since then, she and John were inseperable. John's marriage to Cynthia Lennon ended when she found John and Yoko at her house..
Their "first date" consisted of recording Two Virgins and then getting naked and taking the infamous cover photo...

Anyway, she had their son, Sean in 1975, and she stayed with John until his death in 1980, although some speculate that John was getting ready to leave Yoko, because they were seperated during his 5-year media hiatus. Either way, John loved Yoko, and I love John, so I'm not one of those people who say that she broke up the Beatles. It was clearly other reasons, anyhow. She's a great artist, and once you get over some of the harshness of her music, it's actually quite good.
