A quaint little river-town in the eastern Twin-Cities metro area in Minnesota with many antique shops and cafes and tourists. A nice place to live and a nicer place to visit for a weekend, if you know where to park. Also the location of several summer festivals, like an Art Fair, The Lumberjack Days, and a Taste of Stillwater. Stillwater is also touted as "the birthplace of Minnesota, because the state convention was held there to define the boundaries of minnesota and Wisconsin, and to write the state charter and all of that fun stuff. This was in 1858, if memory server correctly. /msg me if you know different.

Movies filmed in the area: The Mighty Ducks I-III, Grumpy Old Men, Grumpier Old Men, The Cure, Beautiful Girls.
