One of many multi-player combat awards which may be given to a player who repeatedly picks up the armour, even when it is not necessary. The AC-10 award features in the multi-player modes of first person shooters associated with the original Rareware (When they were with Nintendo) development team responsible for goldeneye 007 and Perfect dark.

The term ‘AC-10’ originates from old RPG games in which armour points could be obtained by the player. The Armour class of the player (hence AC) could be a maximum of -10, giving the AC -10 award. The programmers making the present day games left the reference in for nostalgic purposes
