A "reality deviant" is a person or creature in the
World of Darkness universe created by
White Wolf Games Studio which does not conform to the strict
paradigm of
reality espoused by the
Technocratic Conventions. Any
creatures other than
normal, unmodified humans or animals are considered to be reality deviants... such as
vampires,
werecreatures,
mages,
hedge-mages,
Mummies,
faeries,
wraiths and
Bygones. Of course, humans modified by the
Technocracy are not considered to be reality deviants, unless their modifications were unauthorized and fall outside the
Agenda.
The Technocratic Conventions hunt and destroy any reality deviants their members encounter.
