Everything2.com is a weird place. A place where a node entitled "How Pacman and Mrs. Pacman Have Sex" is somehow more relevant than ones on the IT Crowd, the Moonwalk, and Bebo.com. I'm not bitter or anything, but having all but one of my nodes deleted has proven to me that I just don't belong. Oh well.
But you know what really annoys me? Last month I got a message suggesting I look at the Quick Start Guide. I've been here for a year. I've read thousands of nodes. I think I'd know what I'm doing by now. Stupid mods. So, I'm moving on to more accepting sites like Fark.com, or Uncyclopedia, places which are more in-line with my sense of humour, and dare-I-say understanding of subtle satire (something alien to the more vocal frequenters of this site). As I said, I just can't crack the whole noding thing. (English is not my national language) But the least you could do was try to make me feel welcome. Again: not bitter. Just pissed off in the extreme.
So here I am, announcing my official retirement from this site. Collaborative Web-based community my ass. However, don't be afraid to check out my username on other sites. I've Googled Altavista'd myself, with some interesting results. Perhaps we shall meet again somewhere. This is the end. Goodbye.
