California Highway 19
- Commissioned: 1933 (Rerouted in 1964)
- Mileage: 17
- Counties Passed: 1
The current routing of SR-19 begins near SR-1 in the city of Long Beach and continues till Interstate 210 in the city of Sierra Madre.
Before the California Route Renumbering in 1964, SR-19 went from the Long Beach Traffic Circle, north along Cerritos Avenue and San Gabriel Blvd to Foothill Blvd. in Sierra Madre.
Interestingly, the portion from Pico Rivera near Interstate 605 and onward isn't really SR-19, it is, actually SR-164, but isn't signed. You can notice this little inconsistance at the Interstate 10 overcross of Rosemead Blvd. where the sign marks I-10/SR-164 as the overhead crossing, but the signs on the exits that mark it as SR-19.
