A comic book created by Evan Dorkin during the early- to mid-1990s.
Milk and Cheese are dairy products gone bad. They have heavy dark eyebrows, big mouths, and no necks. They rarely open their eyes.
They like gin (it makes a man mean), TV Guide, Merv Griffin, and excessive violence.
Each Milk and Cheese strip follows a general formula -- on the first page, Milk and Cheese commiserate in a fairly voluble and locquacious way about something they're unhappy or enthusiastic about. It might be that they're sober and they do not wish to be. It might be that they have acquired a car and want to drive very, very fast. It might be that they do not like furries. Or comic book conventions. Or stand-up comedy. Or children. It may be because they've ordered Darth Vader masks. It may be because they love Merv Griffin.
And the second page is devoted to Milk and Cheese administering spectacular, bloody, and sometimes deadly violence on massive numbers of innocent (or semi-innocent) people. THE END!
The comics have remained popular and beloved for decades. They're just hilarious, that's all.
