"Ben and Holly's Little Kingdom" is a show about the childhood friendship between a Morlock boy and an Eloi girl.
Ostensibly for preschoolers, it illustrates the somewhat delicate power-sharing agreement between the magic-using fairies and tool-using elves through a humorous series of diplomatic incidents. The fairies' right to rule as royalty is unquestioned - lest one be turned into a toad - but the kingdom could not run without the underground machinations of the elves, and the income provided by their manufacturing contract to a certain S. Claus.
It also teaches that toddlers with magic wands are very dangerous, and to always wear a hard hat if you are smaller than a chicken.
In short, a perfect show for a little jellybean and her daddy.
