A small town on Norway's west coast. Selbu is very close to Trondheim and the famed city of Hell. According to a Swedish friend of mine Selbu means something like "Seal Town". There are no seals in Selbu now, but there are plenty of seagulls. The seagulls only came to Selbu in recent times (past 100 years).

Selbu is a land full of hills, trees, and water. Selbu is on the Atlantic Ocean and also hosts Lake Selbu (which has some really oddly shaped rocks in it). There are also many hills in the area, all of which are covered with verdant green trees. Some also have serene waterfalls.

Selbu is also known for the unique design used on sweaters and mittens. The legend of Trolls (not dwarves) has it roots here.
