The term for a truck that has a full-sized cab, the second row of doors. This is basic terminology in rural Americana, and perhaps elsewhere. The crew in crew cab comes, of course, from the ability to haul more crew since you have a full sized cab.

A bit of a rant. I have noticed that recent commercials for trucks keep referring to larger and larger cabs. It starts out as a one foot space with no doors, and progresses larger, and then one door, and then <amazed announcer voice>TWO whole doors</amazed announcer voice>. I even saw one commercial that claims a certain new truck was the first ever to have four doors standard, which just made me laugh at all the stupid gimmicks companies pull to sell something.
