The more commonly used term is
asexual. Someone who is asexual exhibits no interest in
sex,
dating,
relationships, etc.
Now, many perceive me as asexual. I think I acquired the habit of projecting asexuality when growing up in my conservative, gossipy small town where being asexual is more acceptable than being a flaming homo. Not that I'd be a flamer had I not grown up in such a town, but if circumstances had been different, maybe people wouldn't get the false impression that I'm "asexual".
