The European Trade Union Technical Bureau for Health and Safety or TUTB was established in 1989 by the European Trade Union Confederation in order to monitor and influence the development of Europe wide health and safety regulations introduced as a result of Articles 118A and 100A of the Maastricht Treaty.

In addition, the TUTB represents the ETUC in various institutions dealing with technical standardisation and is an associated member of the European Committee for Standardisation.
