A project conducted by the JPL to provide hardware systems for deep space missions. In earlier missions, the hardware was built depending on the mission of a probe: designed to withstand their unique conditions. The X2000 project aim is to eliminate the costs by designing common systems and equipment (software, avionics and mechanics) for these missions. X2000 will deliver flight and ground systems for the following missions:
