Channon Yarrow is a character in the comic book
Transmetropolitan. First introduced as a stripper in the
Angels 8 district, she later became
Spider Jerusalem's filthy assisant, only to leave to become a nun in
Fred Christ's church. She later came back to become Spider's bodyguard. She and
Yelena Rossini have become friends, based on their mutual hatred of Spider. She was the one who discovered that Spider and
Yelena Rossini sleept together, for it was she who emptied the photos of them sleeping together out of Spider's
live shades.
She has apparently had a pretty traumatic childhood that involved seeing her father naked, using a push pistol to blow off the left nut of someone who was raping her friend, and having to be a stripper, pay-dacoit, and a bodyguard to pay for college.
