G. I. Bro is a terrible
film made in the
seventies starring Fred Williamson as a
black soldier in the
second World War. The tagline for the movie is "If you're a
Kraut, he'll
take you out!" The acting is terrible, and about the high point in the movie is finding out that G. I. Bro is not, in fact, the
main character. In fact, this movie originally was just a shoddy
war movie, but the name and cover art was changed in a pathetic attempt to appeal to the
Blaxploitation market.
So why bother with it? Make a drinking game out of it. That's what we did, and between the two of us the night it happened, we killed a case of Natural Ice. Some embarassing incidents were narrowly skirted...
